Phill grew up in the Parry Sound area and knows it well. He attended Humphrey School from Kindergarten through Grade 8. Then Parry Sound High School for grades 9 through 12. Phill chose to move to Barrie to pursue his secondary education in Marketing and Advertising at Georgian College. He enjoyed the experience but returned home to work at local businesses where he could use his education and continue to learn through real life experiences. Later he joined the volunteer fire department which lead to a new passion for a career firefighting position. This then led him to York Region. Always drawn to the north, as soon as the opportunity arose, he moved back home to the district to raise his own family here. His family has settled into their home on Horseshoe Lake in Humphrey (Seguin Township) and his family loves the community living that they get to experience here. Phill proudly lives and serves the community where he was born and raised.

Phill enjoys spending time with his family who are the center of his life. He is a proud husband to Heather of Team VanDuzen & father of three children – Hailey, Graidon, and Colton. Phill maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys keeping up to date with all thing’s health and fitness, business and personal development. His passion for health and wellness keeps him regularly going to the gym, swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, snowshoeing, skiing, and boating. He enjoys being active in the outdoors and any activities that bring most to want to live or visit the Parry Sound/Muskoka areas. This lifestyle helps him maintain a balanced and quality of life that is paramount for those who search for the opportunity to experience life in this area.

Heather’s business experience, resourceful nature and competitive spirit make her an outstanding fit for the real estate profession. At just 21 years old she began running her own business consisting of 2 gas stations with convenience stores and was the youngest operator in the company. Heather sat on the panel representing the station operators in Northern Ontario and was the trouble-shooting go-to person. Customer care is of the utmost importance and she goes the extra mile for her clients.

Heather’s extensive knowledge of mortgages working as a Mortgage Agent for the last 13 years, past experience working as a Property Report Analyst with a commercial property management company and house flipping with the love of home renovations offer exceptional and well-rounded services to her clients. Heather is an active volunteer at her children’s schools and basketball team. She manages her twin boys REP team and sits on the clubs board as the Director of Media Relations. She is also a dedicated and loving wife, and proud mother to three children. When she isn’t busy selling homes, finding the perfect home for her clients or mortgage financing, you might find her working on her own home, engaged in some podcasts, and spending good quality and fun times with family and friends.
